jess hicks is an artist currently based in brooklyn, new york. jess makes garments, paintings, and sculptures.♡Through painting, mending, and embellishment, she reworks t-shirts and other garments under the name “cute tender memory”. With an emphasis on imbuing garments with care, special attention to detail, and a new life, all garments are upcycled and 100% cotton unless otherwise noted. cute tender memory is a practice in sustainability and love for our planet and other beings. Themes of the work include protection, metamorphasis, spells, and poetry.
★all tees are hand painted with bleach + dye and are 100% cotton- thrifted, vintage, or “upcycled”. each piece is unique.
★custom tees, masks, etc are available by request.
